Which shared car provider in the Netherlands is cheapest?
There is no universal cheapest provider. It depends on how you drive: trip duration and kilometres both matter. Enter your own usage in the calculator above to see the cheapest option for your situation.
Do I need a subscription for a shared car?
Most providers work with a monthly plan. Greenwheels, MyWheels and Vloto all offer plans starting at € 0 per month; higher tiers go up to € 220 per month. MobiGo charges between € 9 and € 49 per month. SIXT share and LochemEnergie are the exception: no subscription, you simply pay per trip or per hour and kilometre. The calculator automatically includes subscription costs in every comparison.
Is a shared car cheaper than owning your own car?
For drivers who travel fewer than around 8,100 kilometres per year, a shared car is almost always cheaper. How much does a shared car cost per hour?
