Deelautowijzer.nl is an independent information site. These terms explain what you can expect from the site, and what the site explicitly is not. In plain language where possible.
1. Who is Deelautowijzer.nl?
Deelautowijzer.nl is an initiative by Hans van der Klok. The site is not affiliated with any of the shared car providers.
2. The site is informational, not advisory
All information on this website is intended as general orientation. The comparison tool calculates rates based on publicly published prices. The outcome is a direction, not advice for your individual situation.
For taking out a subscription or booking a car, you enter into a contract directly with the provider. Deelautowijzer.nl is not a party to that contract. The provider's own terms and conditions apply.
3. Currency and accuracy of rates
Rates are checked monthly based on the public pricing pages of the providers. If major changes occur in between, updates are made sooner. The date of the last check appears at the bottom of every pricing page and in the meta strip at the top of Compare.
Despite our care, prices or conditions may differ from what is shown here. Always check the current price on the provider's website before booking a trip. For an explanation of how rates are calculated, see the methodology.
4. Affiliate links and independence
If you click through to a provider via a button on Deelautowijzer.nl and take out a subscription there, Deelautowijzer.nl may receive a fee from that provider. This is not always the case and depends on the provider. It makes no price difference for you.
This affiliate relationship has no influence on the order of results: comparisons are sorted by price for your scenario, not by commission. Providers are listed as soon as their consumer rates are publicly available, regardless of whether an affiliate arrangement exists.
5. How you may use the site
- Viewing, calculating, and sharing results is always permitted and free of charge.
- No account, no registration, and no payment required.
- Large-scale automated copying of data (scraping) without prior permission is not permitted.
- It is not permitted to rebuild the site or parts of it, or to exploit them in your own product, without attribution and permission.
6. Copyright and logos
The texts, design, comparison logic, and charts on this site are protected by copyright. For use in articles, presentations, or partner materials: short quotations or individual figures with attribution are permitted; reproducing entire texts, tables, or the comparison logic is not. For logos and colours, see the press page, where the conditions for media use are listed.
Logos and brand names of the shared car providers are the property of those providers and are used solely to refer to their services.
7. Liability
Deelautowijzer.nl does its best to keep the information as careful and up to date as possible, but cannot guarantee that everything is complete or error-free. The site is not liable for:
- damage arising from the use of or reliance on the information shown
- consequences of contracts concluded with providers
- temporary unavailability of the site, or inaccuracies that are quickly corrected
- actions of third parties, such as providers or payment processors
To the extent permitted by law, total liability is limited to the amount paid out by any liability insurance in that case. This limitation does not apply in cases of intent or gross negligence.
8. Complaints and disputes
Complaints, corrections, or comments are welcome via .
These terms are governed by Dutch law. Any disputes will be submitted to the competent court in Utrecht.
9. Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated when new features, partners, or legal requirements call for it. The date of the latest version appears below. If you use the site after a change, you accept the new version.
